The Faculty of Commerce & Management Studies (FCMS) at Sri Sri University integrates knowledge, research, industry experience and international exposure to offer comprehensive management programmes. It nurtures dynamic business leaders capable of changing the world of business while assuming social responsibility. FCMS opens wide opportunities for students who wish to acquire knowledge of business, market, economics, industrial policy and other related domains.
FCMS runs with its flagship MBA programmes with specializations in General Management, Agri-business Management & Entrepreneurship which is approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It follows a semester calendar with four semesters spread across a period of two years with 32 papers which includes an eight-week Summer Internship and Capstone project.
The pedagogy includes classroom learning, learning through mini projects and interactions with executives from the industry with the main aim of “Field Based Study” and “Learning By Doing”, which we believe helps the student translate classroom learning to real life situations, thus impacting “practices here and now”.
Besides MBA, the undergraduate programmes are BBA, B.Com.(Hons.), B.Com.(Voc.)-Travel & Tourism and B.Com(Voc.)-Retail Management.
FCMS also offers Ph.D. programs in all areas of Management.
To inculcate the entrepreneurial culture among the students, FCMS has started a Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation namely ‘SRINOVATION’. It frequently organizes meetings and seminars with various industry officials and successful entrepreneurs to develop an entrepreneurial blend of mind among the budding business leaders. FCMS with efforts in education, in entrepreneurship and innovation have an impressive impact at local, regional, and national levels. FCMS alumni have started forming several companies.
