The Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), at Sri Sri University hosted the 2 rd Annual Agri Conclave KRISHIMUKH 2016 “A Seed of Change” on Wednesday, 21 December 2016 celebrating its foundation day. The Finance Conclave commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries from the Agri Industry and the University pillars comprising of Dr. Nand Lal, the Vice Chancellor and Dr. Jyotirmaya Mahapatra, Dean, FMS who took their turns to address the gathering. The guest of honour, Dr. Prabhakar Rao (Trustee for SSIAST of The Art of Living foundation), Retired Lt. Col. Ashit Mahapatra (MD and CEO of Agri Links.), Mr. Harshad Joshi (CEO of Maahi milk producer company Ltd.) participated in the discussion not only on insights but also advised the students to focus on achieving excellency.

Students of Sri Sri University organized their first inter-college cultural fest featuring over 1500 students from 20 institutes across the country. The fest hosted several exciting competitions for the brightest young talent in public speaking, painting, photography, dance, music, gaming and quiz competitions. The fest also included a fashion show, a treasure hunt and business events including a “Boardroom Battle” as well as an adventure sports corner.

The forum, Charchika in collaboration with Young Indians (Bhubaneswar Chapter) celebrated the Global Entrepreneurship Week from 17-22 November.
Students of Sri Sri University inaugurated the "Sri Sri Agribition” with the objectives of creating a platform for technology transfer to the farming community, generating awareness among the agrarian community on efficient marketing processes for their produce, educating the community on low-cost package and practices, and empowering them with the knowledge of preparation of organic inputs and their application. Over 80 farmers from various regions across Odisha including Naraj, Godisahi, Sandapur, Matthapur took part in the exhibition.
