Bachelor of Music - Hindustani Vocal

The three year program aims to reinforce and preserve the strong tradition of the ancient art form. This program is aimed at imbibing the deep ancient musical wisdom of classical Hindustani Vocal music among students.

Course Details

The curriculum features practical papers on technique, presentation and different types of compositions as well as theoretical papers on the historical, cultural, social, spiritual and contemporary aspects of the art form.

The curriculum also includes papers on Yoga, Sanskrit, English, communication and spirituality for overall development.

Apart from classroom teaching, the curriculum also features workshops, seminars and lecture and demonstrations by eminent artistes of national and international repute.

Graduates can become stage performers in Govt. and private organizations, can teach in schools.

Singers can opt for playback singing or can release own music albums.

Can go for higher studies to take up a career in academics and research.

Vocalist can choose to become music composers.
