10 Years of Osteopathy in India International Conference

Format and objectives

The conference is designed to maximise quality interaction time between the international speakers and the local osteopaths and osteopathy students, by combining keynote presentations with hands-on workshops. The workshops are equivalent to post-graduation courses in the European system.

The keynote speakers and workshop instructors are world renowned osteopaths with vast experience in clinical practice and teaching. Many of them are or have been directors of reputed osteopathy institutions. Their keynote topics and workshop themes reflect their expertise through a lifetime of research and practice.

During the three days conference, keynote presentations will take place in the mornings, hands-on workshops in the afternoons, and cultural programs and networking platforms in the evenings. A rich learning experience from some of the best osteopaths of our time.

Renzo Molinari

Prof. Renzo Molinari DO FESO MROF GOsC (UK)
An Introduction to the structure of woman’s health

Prof Renzo Molinari DO FESO MROF GOsC (UK) with over 40 years of experience is one of the leading figures in the world of Osteopathy.

He is an associate Professor of Osteopathy and a fellow of the European School of Osteopathy

Principal of the Molinari Institute of Health (UK).

Honorary President of the Japanese Traditional Osteopathic College (JTOC) Japan.

His main functions include many academic positions (Principal of the European School of Osteopathy, Principal of College Osteopathique Francais, Specialist Adviser to the University of Wales, first chairman of the Russian Academy of Osteopathic Medicine)

All along these years he has been practicing as a clinician with a special interest in Women´s Health, Children Health but also biomechanical problems and sport injuries.

Amberin Fur

Amberin Fur, BSc Hons Ost, DO, DIP WHO (MIH), LFHom, HBOT CO
The oral cavity and its consideration in osteopathic treatment

Amberin qualified from the University College of Osteopathy (UCO), Europe’s leading osteopathic university, in 1997. She began her cranial career at the renowned Osteopathic Centre for Children on Harley Street, working under the esteemed Stuart Korth. She has also trained with Dr Tasha Turzo, DO and founder member of the ALF Educational Institute.

She has completed a postgraduate training diploma in Women’s Health and several SCCO cranial courses over the past 25 years, including the Paediatric Pathway.

She established a specialty clinic in Hyderabad, India, dedicated to children with special needs. This clinic operated successfully for four years, significantly impacting the local community.

Amberin played a key role in the UK|Surestart government project, delivering cranial osteopathy to children aged 0-4 to ensure they received the best start in life.

She spent 12 years on the medical team for British Gymnastics and was selected one of six osteopaths, as part of the core medical services in the athletes village at the London 2012 Olympics, where osteopathy was included for the first time.

In addition to her clinical work, Amberin has served as Vice Chair of the Osteopathic Alliance for ten years. In this role, she has been instrumental in representing the interests of all postgraduate osteopathic institutions, dedicated to preserving and promoting the principles of osteopathy.

Sibylle Graf

Sibylle Graf, MSc DO
Enuresis and other bladder problems in children

Sibylle Graf leads the Swiss International College of Osteopathy (SICO) since 2010.

She works in a private clinic since 2004 in the field of osteopathy and naturopathy.

Professional experience gained in the pediatric field as an assistant for the Osteopathic
Pediatric Circle organizing courses with Viola Frymann and Sandra Bartu in Switzerland and Germany.

Her teaching is focused mainly on osteopathy in the field of pediatrics and clinic organization.

Tajinder Deoora

Tajinder Deoora DO (Hons) Dip Phyt MSc, FSCCO
Osteopathic support of immune function

Tajinder Deoora is the director of the Deoora Clinic in London.

She has a wide scope of osteopathic practice and has been established since 1983. Whilst she specialises in paediatric osteopathy, her interests also lie with the adult complex patient needing hands-on support for their inherent healing processes.

Tajinder is a fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College as well as an international teacher in osteopathy. She has written as co-author in several texts and is the author of the patient-oriented book ‘Healing through Cranial Osteopathy.’

In her spare time Tajinder follows her passion for music and gardening.

Laurence Fourdrignier

Laurence Fourdrignier DO ND
An osteopathic approach to the visceral system

Laurence Fourdrignier teaches Visceral Osteopathy, Diet and Nutrition internationally at post- graduate and Masters Level. She also runs educational fermentation workshops within the community in the UK.

She regularly teaches at the WSO (Vienna) and on the Women’s Health course at the Molinari Institute of Health (MIH) in London and Europe. She is the nutrition/Naturopathy course leader at the CBO, Belgium.
Laurence has written a cookbook called “The Fermented Lady”, a mostly plant- based book full of phenomenally tasty and healthy recipes, introducing you to the Fermentation larder.
She currently works in a multidisciplinary practice in Sheffield (UK) as well as also running her practice for the last 25 years in Worksop in the 3rd largest GP surgery in the UK.

Hugo Chiera

Hugo Chiera
The holistic paradigm and the origins of health

Hugo Chiera is a distinguished educator in cranial osteopathy, visceral osteopathy, and the philosophy of osteopathy. He teaches at FULCRUM Escuela Superior de Medicina Osteopática (Buenos Aires, Argentina) and Sri Sri University (India), where he has led the cranial osteopathy curriculum since 2016.

His expertise includes the osteopathic treatment of patients with Angelman syndrome. In Buenos Aires, he pioneered a social initiative in collaboration with Casa Angelman, a leading institution in the field, integrating osteopathy with other therapeutic approaches.

With a deep commitment to the osteopathic tradition, Hugo Chiera emphasizes the importance of understanding its history and integrating its principles across diverse areas of practice.

Workshops

You can opt for one of the following hands-on practical workshops during the conference.  
Each workshop is of 6 hours divided in 3 sessions across the conference. 
The workshop sessions will take place from 3.30pm to 5.30pm each day of the conference. They do not overlap with the keynote presentations. 
Each workshop has 20 seats. You can select the workshop of your choice upon registration. Seats are allotted on a first come first served basis.
