The AOLCAMP will be conducted in the premises of Sri Sri University Campus premises, which is well equipped with the necessary and basic amenities. Please do not expect any luxurious facilities or room service. We advise you & your child to go through pictures/ videos of Sri Sri University Campus, tentative schedule before registering.
Every room is well ventilated, having 3 single beds, 1 toilet, 1 bathroom & 1 wash basin. Hot water is supplied through solar panels. Clean rooms are allotted on the 1st day. Girls & Boys rooms are separate. Though we do regular pest-control, at times lizards / honey bees / small insects are found. If children spill food in rooms, they may face the problem of ants.
Children & teens are divided into UY (8 to 13 yrs), MY-1 and MY-2 (13+ to 17yrs) groups on the basis of their age. Even if a child has done UY before but does not fit in MY age group, he still has to repeat UY.
from you for 5 days. Make them aware of SSU facilities, schedule & activities through pictures & Videos, so that their expectations are managed.
If any child feels homesick or cries, our team is dedicated to making them comfortable with love & Inspiration. All our efforts give results only when Parent’s support us in making children complete a camp rather than giving it up.
We serve vegetarian meal four times a day. Along with breakfast we serve fruits & milk; For lunch & dinner we have Roti, subzi, dal, rice, salad etc. As per kids’ experience, the food is healthy and tasty. Please do not expect any lavish food but yes on some days some fancy food is given. Before our meals we all pray together & after meals we all have to wash our own plates.
It is better if parents or relatives do not stay in campus when their child is participating in the camp. Other Children feel more homesick when they see other kids being accompanied by their parent or relative. We request parents not to visit their kids in between the camp. It defeats the entire purpose of sending kids to the camp and being independent.
However if they still want, they can participate in our family retreat.
We have family retreat in our schedule. So, on those dates parents can do any Art of Living course or Panchakarma treatment while their kids participate in the camps. This becomes like an entire family outing and every family member gets a break from their routine. So for parents who cannot stay away from their kids, this is a very good option. Kindly note that Parents and kids will be given different rooms.
We have a dedicated volunteer well-prepared with ‘First-Aid Kit’. The SSU Campus also has a 24×7 Emergency clinic within the 100 bed Ayurveda Hospital.
Children should be medically fit to participate in ‘Adventure Camp’. If your child is undergoing any medical treatment and medicines need to be administered regularly, then the child should join the family retreat where parents accompany him and manage timely medication or Child should be educated to take medication by himself/herself on time.
We will call parents & make them talk to their child only on the 3rd day during lunch/ Snacks / dinner break. Kindly note only 1 call of 3 minutes to any of the parents will be made. We will not be able to answer any calls or sms unless there is an emergency. Do not give mobiles to your children, if found, it will be confiscated with a penalty of Rs.1000. In case of emergency you can contact our team. The emergency contact numbers will be shared with you. To make parents feel at ease, we will post pics on Facebook Page on alternate days.
There is an all-purpose utility store in the campus. All necessary items, Sri Sri Ayurveda products, goodies and eatables are available there. Please do not send more than Rs. 300. with your child as they end up buying a lot of junk food and ice creams, making them sick (cough and cold) during camps. Please note that organizers will not be responsible for safe keeping of their money.
Do not send any valuables like Camera, I-pad etc with children. Organizers will not be responsible for their safe keeping or damage. Kindly note that donation once paid is non refundable under any circumstances.
We recommend it, as it will clear all your doubts. There will not be any Briefing on reporting day.
Can a kid currently running 8yrs come for AOL CAMPS?
This is completely up to the parents’ discretion. The kid should be physically fit and should be able to manage all his daily chores by himself and should not feel homesick.
Can an 18 year old or above come for camp?
Camp activities and courses are meant only for children and teens up to 17 years. An 18 year old is eligible for the Happiness Program.
If my child is afraid to do adventure can he skip it?
Camps are meant to come out of fears and phobia. There are specialized techniques in Art of Living courses to help them come out of Fear. During adventure also we encourage kids a lot and we have seen that kids express joy once they complete the adventure activity. In spite of our 100% love and inspiration, if the child is still not ready, then in such cases we have no option but to let go.

Take help of ur neighbor or friends
Can I pay on the spot and register my child?
Our camps get full a week before. If in any camp, a seat is available, then you can come on the spot and register. Kindly note, that all rooms get full much earlier, so it is good to register one week in advance to avoid disappointment, as we have limited rooms available for each camp.

Boys and girls, though they may be siblings, still will have to stay in different rooms.

Yes. Parents have to pay charges for the same. Payment can be done on the spot
Will all kids do Sudarshan Kriya?
YES. Sudarshan Kriya is specific to the 13+ age of the student. For 8 to 13 years, children’s kriya is taught which is a lighter & easier breathing technique with the same benefits.
In a family retreat, can kids sleep with their parents?
Kids and parents will be given separate rooms. Camp is an opportunity for them to become independent.
