Introduction
The Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Robotics and Automation equips students with foundational mechanical engineering principles and advanced skills in robotics, automation, and intelligent systems. This program integrates the dynamic fields of mechanical design, control systems, and AI, preparing students for the evolving demands of smart manufacturing and autonomous systems.
The minor in Artificial Intelligence provides knowledge of AI concepts and applications, empowering students to design intelligent and adaptive mechanical systems.
The skill training in Electrical Vehicle (Mechanical) focuses on the mechanical aspects of electric vehicles, including design, dynamics, and integration of EV components.
The program is offered in collaboration with L&T, leveraging their industry
expertise, and is powered by Intel’s cutting-edge technology resources to
enhance learning and innovation.
Eligibility
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics, and one of the following subjects:
– Chemistry / Computer Science / Electronics / Information
Technology / Biology / Informatics Practices / Biotechnology /
Technical Vocational Subject / Agriculture / Engineering
Graphics / Business Studies / Entrepreneurship.
– Obtained at least 45% marks (40% for candidates belonging to
reserved categories) in the above subjects taken together.
OR
– Passed D.Voc. stream in the same or allied sector.
– The university may offer suitable bridge courses such as
Mathematics, Physics, Engineering Drawing, etc., for students
coming from diverse backgrounds to ensure a level playing field
and desired learning outcomes of the program.
Note: Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects at the 10+2 level.
