Prof. Anju Dhawan, MD (Psychiatry) is a gold medalist from AIIMS and is working with the National Drug Dependence Treatment Centre, AIIMS. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of Addiction Psychiatry and has over hundred publications. She has been involved in more than 20 funded research projects as an investigator included those funded by WHO and UNODC. Her special area of interest is Substance Use amongst adolescents – its prevention as well as management.

A Masters in music, Smt Anupama Bhagwat, a Sitar Musician, non – parallel has carved a niche in Indian Classical Music with a versatile and electric style. A Doyen of the Imdadkhani Gharana. Anupama’s style is characterized by scintillating fast taans, mastery of the meditative alaap, and brilliant fluency of melody (raagabhava), while remaining true to tradition. She was conferred the title ‘Surmani’ by Sur Shringar Sansad in 1995. Her sensitivity and erudition has taken her to the highest echelons of the modern genre. Dr. Ayon Maharaj

Dr. Ayon Maharaj is an Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Philosophy at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Educational and Research Institute in Belur Math. He received his BA (2002) and Ph.D (2009) from the University of California at Berkeley (USA). He was a visiting student at the University of Oxford (2000-1) and also a Fulbright Fellow at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (2006-7). His current research focuses on Vedāntic philosophical traditions, cross-cultural philosophy of religion, and Indian scriptural hermeneutics. He is the author of two books, Infinite Paths to Infinite Reality: Sri Ramakrishna and Cross-Cultural Philosophy of Religion (Oxford University Press, 2018) and The Dialectics of Aesthetic Agency: Revaluating German Aesthetics from Kant to Adorno (Bloomsbury, 2013).

Prof. Girishwar Misra, has served as a Psychologist as well as the Head of the Department at the University of Delhi for two decades. He has been one of the pioneers of the emerging field of Indian Psychology. He has also served as a president of the National Academy of Psychology, India.He has also been working as the Chief Editor – Psychological Studies, Springer for Sixteen years. He has been a full bright senior fellow at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and Swarthmore College, Philadelphia. His major publications include Psychological Consequences of Prolonged Deprivation, Deprivation: Its Social Roots and Psychological Consequences. He has authored many books such as Handbook of Psychology in India. He has been the recipient of many a notable National awards.

Prof. Indranee Phookan Boorooah

Professor Indranee Phookan Borooah is presently teaching in the Department of Psychology at Gauahti University. She has taught various courses across the subject of psychology while her present focus in research has been Positive Psychology. She has supervised Ph. D. research work since 2000 and her scholars have worked on diverse topics such as loneliness, resilience, creativity, moral reasoning, emotional intelligence, character strengths, etc. She is a master trainer in HIV/AIDS counselling and registered as psychologist for the NGO, Swabalambi, that works for the rehabilitation of the disabled. She has edited the first text book of psychology in Assamese, written chapters in books and published around fifty papers in research journals. The mystical and esoteric experiences of human beings have attracted curiosity in her and she feels that future research may include such areas of human experiences, especially in the context of the cultures of North East India. She has taken some preliminary steps in that direction, having published papers on faith healers of Assam and Bhaona, the traditional theatre form of Assam.

Her fields of specialization include Human Development and Family Relations, Pre-School Education, Guidance and Counselling etc. Apart from publishing papers in various international journals and presenting papers at National and International Conferences and seminars, Dr Kaur. Has authored a book “Activities for three-four year-olds – A Resource Material for Teachers “ published by the Education Department, Chandigarh Administration. She also has conducted several workshops related to parenting, teacher training, stress management, prevention of suicides, adolescent development etc

Dr. Neena Bansal is an Associate Professor in Kamala Nehru College of Delhi University since 1995 in the Dept. of Political Science. Her area of specialization is international relations with a PhD in “Democratic Experience under Zulfikar Ali Bhutto”. Apart from this, she also has a keen interest in ancient and modern Indian Political thought. Dr Bansal has written and presented papers in her expert areas across different conferences. She is also the convener of the Gandhi Study Circle of her college, where the students are involved in activities related to the Gandhian thought and understanding.

And has given over 250 performances of which a few prestigious performances are: o Ajanta-Ellora Festival o Elephanta Festival o Sangeet Natak Akademy etc. Through ICCR, she has represented India in the South African International Art Festival and given solo Kathak performances in countries like Jordan, Egypt, Palestine & Qatar. She has also performed for the Consul General’s of France & USA and also for the Czech delegation in Mumbai. She is also a qualified Architect and is trained in classical vocal and Sitar. Sarbani Rath is a certified Jaimini Scholar and a Jyotisha Pandita of the Devaguru Bṛhaspati Centre, a teacher of the Parasara Jyotish Course and Jaimini Scholar Programme, president of Sri Jagannath Centre, member of the Council of Vedic Astrologers (CVA), USA and a patron of the British Association of Vedic Astrology (BAVA), UK. She studied at Loreto House School and then completed her graduation in Political Science from Presidency College, masters in Political Science from University of Calcutta and diploma in environmental law from the Centre of Environmental Law, WWF-India. She has taught as a guest lecturer at the M.Sc. programme in Environmental Biology, University of Delhi and at the graduation programme at the National Institute of Design (NID), Ahmedabad. Prof. V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai is serving as the Professor and Provost of Somaiya Vidyavihar and Somaiya Ayurvihar under the Somaiya Trust, Mumbai, since January 2018. He has been at the helm of affairs of many higher educational and scientific research establishments for the last 47 years as a teacher, researcher, professor, and executive head of Education, Science and Technology establishments in the country and abroad. An Elected Fellow of the Indian Academy of Sciences, Prof. Rajasekharan Pillai is one among the top-cited Chemistry researchers in the country. He also worked as a Visiting Research Professor in the University of Lausanne, Switzerland.
