Besides the above Academic achievements, Prof. Rekha Singhal is a keen sportsperson and a music aficionado. She has won several medals at the national level in Table Tennis, Badminton and Swimming. She is also the proud recipient of Sangeet Prabhakar in Sitar from Prayag Sangeet Samiti in 1979.

Other Accomplishments

Executed projects/assignments funded by UNICEF,UNDP, FAO, World Bank, DFID, Ford Foundation, and several state governments department, like Women and Child Development, Tribal, Forests, Police etc. Conducted training programmes for Indian Forest Service Officers of different levels, Shastra Seema Bal, Several State Government Departments, Industries , and Non-Government Organizations. Adhoc reviewer of research articles and research proposals
