Dr. Mrutyunjay Dash has gained rich experience in research having been associated with Nabakrushna Choudhury Centre for Development Studies (an ICSSR Research Institute) and Ravenshaw University in major research projects sponsored by ICSSR and Ford Foundation, USA. For nearly two decades, he has been associated with the field of academics and research and academic administration.
He has proved his mettle as a Visiting Faculty in Manipal Academy of Higher Education, one of the premier institutes in India holding 8th Rank in NIRF ranking which has also been granted Institution of Eminence status by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. He has presented papers in national and international conferences and has published papers in reputed national and international journals and also organized series of National and International Conferences as Convenor for meaningful corporate academia interface on emerging issues. He has contributed substantially for the development of books in Economics of reputed and established authors published by international publishers and contributed edited chapters, apart from publishing a book on Agricultural Economics.
His areas of interest are Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Economics. He has conducted series of Faculty Development Programmes and has also conducted Induction Training Programme as Resource Person on Development of Managerial skills for officers of Odisha Forest Development Corporation Limited (OFDC). Apart from being enriched with teaching at PG level and research experience spanning nearly two decades, he has a penchant for academic administration and has discharged responsibilities in various capacities including Chairman, PG Council of Asian School of Business Management (ASBM University) and Principal, ASBM Institute of Professional Studies, Head, ASBM Centre for Distance Education and has proved his worth in divergent fields of general administration and academic administration, like assessment and accreditation and institutional effectiveness, to mention a few.
