The rules for effective management according to His Holiness Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is developing and listening to one’s intuitive abilities, focusing on innovation, creating a sense of belongingness among co-workers for developing teamwork and commitment, and believing in oneself.
The courses offered under FMS imparts a strong foundation in business concepts through theoretical and practical opportunities. The course programs not only build knowledge-based skills or hard skills in the various areas of management but also polishes a wide domain of soft skills like communication, negotiation, management skills, leadership skills among others to make the students open to global opportunities for career growth.
The courses hone skills for self-motivated students to start an independent business. An array of LIVE projects, case studies allow students to become successful managers when they are faced with real-life situations and problems and come out with real-time solution The program creates and develops the KSAs (Knowledge, Skills, and Attitude) among the students with a high level of credibility in the eyes of the recruiters and other representatives of the organizations.
The courses under the Faculty of Management Studies follow Innovative teaching-learning activities like-Modular Based Teaching, Video-Based Teaching, e-learning, Webinars, Quiz Competitions, etc. Additionally, counseling is provided to help students overcome their academic/personal issues. Remedial classes are conducted to uplift the progress of the students and regular sessions and assignments help evaluate the progress of the students. We provide students the opportunity to develop their soft skills by organizing seminars and workshops. Meditation and breathing practices help students to understand their minds, concentrate better and deal with stress. An E-notice facility is issued for students and we acknowledge feedback from parents/students on teaching and evaluation strategies etc.
