Prof. Ajay Kumar Singh is the Vice-Chancellor of Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha, w.e.f. May 10, 2019.

Dr. Singh is an eminent educator and a Fellow and Managing Trustee of the Indian Commerce Association (ICA), Immediate Past President of the Indian Commerce Association Delhi NCR Chapter, Past President of the Indian Association for Management Development (IAMD), Fellow of Computer Society of India, Hony. President of Governing Body of Divine Group of Institutions, DSPSR, and many NGOs.

Dr. Singh has always been at the top in his field. From being a school topper, and also an SRCC Alumnus, to being the Editor-in-Chief: Delhi Business Review. He has earned the best teacher award for two consecutive years in 1998 and 1999 at IAMT. 

Under the able supervision of Dr. Singh, 12 International Awards and Distinctions have been conferred including 2 Gold Medals and 1 Silver Medal. 35 Scholars have also been awarded Ph. D. degree under his supervision.

Dr. Singh was awarded by Indian Commerce Association (ICA), with the BEST BUSINESS ACADEMIC OF THE YEAR (BBAY) AWARD – 2011 GOLD MEDAL & MMSM Research Award 2011& 2012 GOLD MEDAL.

Dr. Singh has over 33 years of teaching experience with 211 Publications including 10 books, 1  International Monograph, 106 research papers, 12 articles, 16 case studies, 54 editorial reviews, 2 abstracts, and 8 book reviews published in leading journals (Emerald’s TLO & Social Responsibility Journal, Inderscience- IJBIS, Spriner’s Current Psychology, Scientific Journal ACTA OPERATIVO OECONOMICA, Slovak Republic, ACTA ECONOMICA PRAGENSIA, Agricultural Economics – Czech, IJ of Bus. & Mgt. Studies, Turkey, etc. (including two GOLD MEDALS  for best paper awards, two best paper awards, two silver medal-winning papers, and two 2nd best papers). His total citations are 443 with an index of 10 and a 10 index of 11 as of July 12, 2020, as per Google Scholar Citations.

Dr. Singh served as Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jazeera, Dubai, UAE and has traveled to 23 countries and addressed in more than 200 conferences/seminars/ workshops/training programs & in more than 100 online sessions/webinars in the last four months. He is on EOL from the post of Professor at Faculty of Commerce & Business, Delhi School of Economics, University of Delhi. He has also served as Dean (Works), DU, OSD, University Press, DU, Head, Graphic Arts Centre, University of Delhi.

From The Desk of Vice-Chancellor: His Message to the Students

I welcome all the students who chose to be a part of this one-of-a-kind premier institution for a journey of a lifetime. 2020 has been a hard year for all, and your perseverance and dedication have been fundamental in reaching this platform.
