The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare launched the Tee MANAS initiative on World Mental Health Day, aiming to provide free mental health services nationwide, particularly targeting remote or underserved areas. A toll-free helpline number, 14416 or 1800-891-4416, has been established for assistance around the clock. These mental health and wellness services are accessible to those in need, free of cost, and available 24/7.
