Over 23 years of clinical, academic and administrative experience across a range of trans-disciplinary domains namely Developmental Psychology, Trans-personal Psychology, Rehabilitation Psychology, Adolescent Reproductive and Sexual Health, Indian Psychology , Counselling Psychology, Cross Cultural Psychology and Contemplative Studies. Has pioneered amalgamating ‘Orient and Occident’ interventions in enhancing well-being of children and adults across a range of developmental disorders as well as psychological, psycho-social & psycho-somatic conditions. Has conceptualized and steered several micro and macro level funded projects with Sida and various UN (UNICEF, UNFPA, UNAIDS, UNESCO, UNODC, UNEF etc) and Governmental Organizations in the development sector. Has contributed extensively to augmenting the Science of Yoga worldwide – one most significant being conceptualizing and directing a 13 episode TV Series for Mauritius Broadcasting Network. Has written over 40 articles and delivered talks across various mass media and public forums channels both nationally and internationally on her areas of expertise. Has authored “Building Alliances Accelerating Transformations” released by Sri Sri Publications Trust in 2011. Has been invited to several academic forums as a speaker/ key note speaker. Has guided and enabled research publications in national and international journals for students of undergraduate and post graduate programs. Has developed the Yoga Accreditation Manual as a core working group member for the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC; an autonomous body under UGC) apart from being an Assessor with NAAC. Has been featured for her pioneering initiatives worldwide. The prestigious Lens Magazine, China made a documentary on her life and her immense contributions in uplifting happiness quotients world wide. She is a member with the American Psychological Association.
