Over the years, a paradigm shift has been observed in the landscape of science. This is attributed to the enormous amount of new challenges encountered by scientists such as new discoveries, employability, cutting-edge research, and ever increasing demands of this rapidly changing modern society. As a result, cross-, inter-, and multi-disciplinary science research programs have emerged, leading to a convergence of ideas, knowledge, and expertise, to counter these prevailing challenges; at the same time, a more pedagogical, holistic, and pragmatic teaching-learning approach has been felt and implemented in today’s science education at universities.
It is in response to this the M. Sc. Mathematics program at Sri Sri University is envisioned. It is tailored to incorporate essential ingredients of the multifaceted education system of this rapidly changing world. It is a two-year program that focuses on the application of innovative mathematical reasoning and computational tools to resolve challenges related to other disciplines.
