The Sri Sri University, Cuttack, Odisha, has been established under Section 32 (1) of The Sri Sri University Act 2009, passed by the Legislative Assembly, Government of Odisha. The University is empowered to award degrees as specified under Section 22 of the UGC Act through its main campus at regular mode with the approval of Statutory Bodies/ Councils, wherever it is required. The name of the University has been included in the list of universities under Section 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
