Beginnings are important especially so when they determine the direction of progress being made. On 25 May 2022, we officially commenced our first batch of Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) program. We organized the Sishoupanayana event to commemorate the day.

During the event, in the early hours of the morning, the auspicious Dhanwantri Homa was performed by our Yajman honorable President Prof. (Mrs.) Rajita Kulkarni and Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) B.R. Sharma.

After finishing the homa Tilak Grahan and Thread Tying ceremonies were also performed by them.

After that young scholars were initiated into the service of the humankind through Charak Oath.

The teachers then took their oath to guide these students in a wholehearted manner in form of Guru Pratijna.

Afterwards teachers bestowed Ashirvachanam and the students bowed down and accepted their responsibilities.

In the follow-up event, Deep Prajwalan was performed by our honourable President,Vice-Chancellor and honourable guests,  Prof. (Dr.) Pradeep Kumar Panda, Dean, SSCASRH; Prof. (Dr.) D. P.
