KrushaCo – Alibaba of Farmers

While the campus happily boasts of alumni who have created a successful business for themselves, the way existing students on the campus have shown interest in taking entrepreneurial leap along with studies is marvelous. Most of the students feel obliged to serve the society. In this attempt, Bibhu, Aarachi and Asit, MBA Agribusiness students started a venture to help the farmers of the country.

KrushaCo provides one to one mentoring to farmers by connecting them to government portals and knowledge pool of scientists. It also creates a single window platform for farmers by providing all kinds of agricultural inputs and market linkage by re-intermediating the middlemen. This ambitious business model was difficult to execute but it is up and running successfully in two villages currently.

It aims to make farmers smart and improve their productivity and profit. KrushaCo also brings innovation in agriculture to facilitate low risk in Agriculture. It provides mentoring to farmers by experts to boost their productivity. It also provides them support to sell their output in a much better price.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Krushaco is one of the first startups with an original concept to come out of Srinovation. With years of experience, Krushaco has the capability and expertise to boost the farmers yield to the next level.  At Krushaco, they combine their insights and skills to transform farmers processes and techniques and give it a new edge. They are proud to help shape and improve farming methods to get best out of the best.

The company follows an Alibaba model for farmers and has scored the ‘Best Start-up’ title in many start-ups fests.  Krushaco aims to reach out to farmers in a consultancy manner and make a difference to the society! These visionary thinkers have set an example for the budding entrepreneurs of the University.

SSU encourages young dynamites to manifest ideas that have the potential to bring about a change in the society. National Start-up Week, an annual entrepreneurial event of Srinovation Club will host many such path-breaking ideas and opportunities for the future entrepreneurs.
