Sri Sri University’s second batch of the B.A.M.S. degree program commenced on 21 Feb, providing students with a comprehensive course on traditional Indian medicine. The four-and-a-half-year program offered by Sri Sri University focuses on the practical application of Ayurveda in treating patients, enabling students to become successful Ayurvedic practitioners. By equipping students with the skills and knowledge required to apply Ayurveda in a practical setting, the program prepares them to meet the demands of the industry. The program’s curriculum covers a broad range of subjects, including Ayurvedic anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, and diagnostic techniques, as well as herbal and mineral therapies. With a strong emphasis on clinical practice and research, the program also aims to cultivate the critical thinking skills necessary for students to assess and apply Ayurvedic principles to real-world cases. By the end of the program, graduates are well-prepared to make a meaningful contribution to the field of Ayurveda and provide high-quality care to their patients.
