Established by the Pujya Gurudev Shri Shri Ravi Shankar Ji on February 24, 2021, the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (formerly Faculty of Emerging Technologies) at our university has been at the forefront of innovation in education. Lateral Entry admission into different B.Tech. program of Faculty of Engineering and Technology

Faculty of Engineering and Technology’s B. Tech. (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Engineering, Cyber Security) Lateral Entry Program is an innovative program, in which students who have completed a 3-year Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. degree or equivalent examination with at least 45% marks can take admission and get B.Tech. degree in just three years. The students will be directly admitted to the 3^rd semester (2^nd Year) of the B.Tech. program. The admission to lateral entry B.Tech(AIML, DE, CS) is governed by the following rules.

1. To all lateral entry seats, shall be made through the Entrance Test(s) of the university.

2. There is no reservation category for any course under the Lateral Entry scheme.

3. Duration of the program is 3 Years.

MINIMUM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

Passed Minimum THREE years / TWO years (Lateral Entry) Diploma examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology.

OR

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized University as defined by UGC, with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) and passed 10+2 examination with Mathematics as a subject.

OR

Passed D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector.

Note: The Universities may offer suitable bridge courses such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering drawing, etc., for the students coming from diverse backgrounds to achieve desired learning outcomes of the programme.
