
The Faculty of Arts, Communication & Indic Studies is committed to make students extend their creative wings through the study of language, music, painting, dance, and Sanskrit. In a nutshell, the faculty reverberates with the Best of the West through studies of the English language and Best of the east through its other course offerings.
The faculty facilitates the students with a natural, beautiful, and serene environment that fosters artistic excellence. A holistic education, career-oriented curriculum, expert guidance, and comprehensive training in body, mind, and knowledge are provided to students to grow up as fine artists and to absorb values that will help them become disciplined, confident, self-sufficient, and noble human beings.
A comprehensive and far-sighted curriculum developed by a team of experts keeps creative learning in its focus. The students are taught in studios where they have their own dedicated design spaces. They are set projects that require them to produce drawings and models to communicate their ideas.
Studio work is supervised in individual tutorials and group critical reviews encouraging students to develop essential design skills. Learning is not only confined to the studio, opportunities are given to students to also explore nature.
The courses under the Faculty of Arts, Communication & Indic Studies follow Innovative teaching-learning activities like-Modular Based Teaching, Video-Based Teaching, e-learning, Webinars, Quiz Competitions, etc. Additionally, counseling is provided to help students overcome their academic/personal issues. Remedial classes are conducted to uplift the progress of the students and regular sessions and assignments help evaluate the progress of the students.
FACIS provide students the opportunity to develop their soft skills by organizing seminars and workshops. Meditation and breathing practices help students to understand their minds, concentrate better and deal with stress. An E-notice facility is issued for students and we acknowledge feedback from parents/students on teaching and evaluation strategies etc.

- Choreographed Traditional group Odissi dance bringing 555 Dancers together in one platform for the Guinness Book of World Records
- Dance choreography (commercial & classical) for national & regional television network
- Acted in “Kedar Gouri” serial for national television (DD-1)
- Choreographed Odissi dance sequences for an Indo–Chinese film “The Desire”
