pROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • The M.Sc. Osteopathy curriculum is designed for health care professionals (MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BPT, BHMS and BNYS) to acquire the knowledge and skills required for clinical practice in Osteopathy
  • The curriculum follows the traditional European modality of education in osteopathy, combining the areas of musculoskeletal, visceral, and cranial osteopathy along with the biomedical sciences
  • Graduates are licensed from the State Council for Allied Health Medical Sciences
  • Exposure to osteopathy experts from Europe, North and South America
  • A 2 years full-time program with an additional internship of 3-months
  • 1000 hours of clinical practice
  • Internship in private clinics and hospitals
  • A culture of self-study is promoted through meditation and breathwork

On completion of this program, students will be able to:

  • Engage responsively and sensitively in the health care field, by serving patients with the highest quality of osteopathic treatment
  • Contribute to the development of integrative practices in health care, where osteopathy offers effective and non-invasive alternatives to common chronic and acute conditions
  • Demonstrate critical reflection in the field of osteopathic research and its applications.
