BSc (Hons.) Environmental Studies

Faculty of Science, Sri Sri University has conceptualized offering this program in the context of global environmental challenges of the present times. The curriculum is broad-based as it is intended for the participation of students from diverse disciplines so that they can benefit from research-based learning which is a key differentiator for this program which is based on New Education Policy, 2020. This 3-year program is open for application to students having qualified for the senior secondary/10+2/ intermediate examination in Arts/Science/Commerce.

Course Details

• The course comprises most of the areas of environmental science and ecology. By the time students graduate, they will find opportunities in fieldwork.
• The course includes a lot of practical work alongside the cutting-edge theoretical course. The faculty has curated a dedicated unit that allows and oversees students to conduct practical fieldwork in the heart of the environment.
• Additionally, the students also get hands-on experience every year. The course aims at providing a great overview of the things that are necessary for understanding the entirety of environmental science. The goal of the 3-year course is to prepare students for a career in the respective field of study.
