G20 EMPOWER is a working group that focuses on women’s empowerment. The group has identified Priority Issue III: Education as a game-changing pathway to women’s empowerment. The group is planning fantastic initiatives to ensure that the gender gap in higher education, especially STEM education for girls, is reduced. The meeting was attended by Rajita Bagga, President of Sri Sri University.

The gender gap in higher education is a significant issue that needs to be addressed. Women are underrepresented in STEM fields, and this gap is even more pronounced in developing countries. The G20 EMPOWER group is working to reduce this gap by creating initiatives that will encourage more girls to pursue STEM education. These initiatives will help to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce, which will benefit everyone.

STEM education is an essential part of modern education. It stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. STEM education is critical for the development of new technologies and innovations that can help solve some of the world’s most pressing problems. By encouraging more girls to pursue STEM education, we can create a more diverse and inclusive workforce that is better equipped to tackle these challenges.
