M.Sc. Exercise and Sports Physiology
M.Sc. Exercise and Sports Physiology is a postgraduate program that has a strong focus on the development of skills for practical application in both sporting and exercise populations and provides you with the opportunity to develop an in-depth knowledge base of the physiological and metabolic demands of exercise and physical training.
The multidisciplinary curriculum aims to excel sports culture which promotes inescapable spiritual and ethical dimension that exists within sports and sportspersons.
Course Features
The program enhances and strengthens your practical skills in exercise physiology measurements and research methods, as well as developing your professional qualities.
- Training and conditioning and, sport and exercise psychology
- Physiological performance assessment for athletes, healthy people and for people with controlled disease
- Movement and Biomechanical analysis of various sports
- Students will have opportunities for summer internship/research during the program and will be eligible for International/National Level Entrance Tests for higher studies
- To protect, sustain, and enhance the top form of sportspersons in modern competitive sports and games, and traditional Indian Games
- Quality in teaching, coaching, and research to excel world-class educators in the field of sports physiology, and sports sciences.
Graduates on completion, will have the knowledge, skills and abilities to work in Sports Medicine centers, professional sports organizations, corporate fitness/wellness industries, and occupational health as:

10+2 examination or equivalent from any stream from a recognized board with a minimum of 50% score
ELIGIBILITY
Bachelor in Physiology/Life Sciences or any other examinations recognized equivalent thereto or higher Degree with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Any medical Degree (MBBS, BDS, BAMS)/ BPT/ allied Health Sciences including B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharma
